Naomi Hoffman
Administrative Assistant, rivendell Institute
Naomi joined the Rivendell team as an administrative assistant in the fall of 2019. In addition to providing administrative support for Rivendell’s research centers and programs, she also serves as the Institute’s in-house point person for graphic design, website design and development, and communication and marketing.
Naomi holds a bachelor’s in fine art from Pepperdine University and a master’s in art theory from Regis University. Her academic research interests mainly lie at the intersection of art, philosophy, and neuroscience and include topics such as ethical responsibilities in museum practice, art as phenomenology, and cultural influences on aesthetic experience. In recent years, she has worked in collaboration with the Rivendell Center for Theology and the Arts to develop events and programming for their Art & Culture Series.
Naomi’s interest in art is not purely academic. She maintains a growing art practice in her home studio, designing and hand-creating luxury bridal jewelry and accessories. Her signature style is distinctly sculptural and utilizes a variety of natural materials such as pearls, gemstones, and metal components. Her pieces are available through her business, Marian May Atelier.
